At the conclusion of a lengthy trial, a Prince George's County Circuit Court jury awarded a $225,000 verdict, in favor of our client, against a local car dealership in conjunction with a $75,000 award against the owners of a local towing company for their business dealings with a former client. In addition, the jury awarded our client $708,716 in punitive damages, which is intended to reform or deter the Defendants and others from engaging in conduct similar to that which formed the basis of the lawsuit. The clients were very satisfied with their verdict, which totaled $1,008,716.
Attorneys Raouf M. Abdullah, Jibril A. Brown, and J. Wyndal Gordon litigated the hearing over a period of five days and presented a multitude of witnesses, documents, and other evidence in an exciting trial to prove their case against the Defendants. We thank the jury for performing their civic duty, and we are extremely pleased to see justice prevail.
